qmail and apache stop responding
I'm not sure where else to go for help so I thought I'd try here. I've had a server with iWeb for a while now and all has been great, until recently. I had it reinstalled to remove cPanel, and I compiled everything I need and it's been working great except periodically qmail and apache still just sort of go dead. Try to check mail and it just says "Connecting to..." and same with apache. SSH still functions, I have oepnvpn running and the link stays up, it just seems as far as I can tell apache and qmail are affected.
Now I checked all the logs, and nothing seems out of the ordinary at all. Nothing in /var/log/qmail reports anything strange, and same with the apache logs. Also checked /var/log/messages but all it had was a bunch of crond messages, which I'm assuming are for my mrtg graphs.
Does anyone have any ideas on what else I can check? This is very frustrating to me, because as an intermittent problem it's difficult to pinpoint because unless I refresh a page constantly, I don't really know when it goes down.
