Email to another server
I have a dedicated server and also a reseller account (same datacenter, different servers)
I need to move a domain off the dedicated and onto the reseller account.
Can I go into WHM on the dedicated and under "dns functions" select "edit mx entry" for the domain in question and tell it the server name where the reseller account is? eg. server.resellerprovider.com .. I've already setup the account and mailboxes on the reseller account.
This is a mail-only domain so no website to worry about .. rather there is a website, just nothing to do with me or my server.
I've also requested the MX records be changed by the current domain admin (i've inherited this one so can't control the domain directly).
