Need help FOR GD extension!!
I hope anyone can help me out here, Im pretty new to this GD extension, I have paid $$ for a web hosting server, I would like to run a photo gallery on that server, so i need the GD extension installed..
Here is the thing, when I try to run the php.info script, the GD is not shown on that page, I have contacted my provider, and they said that the GD is installed ang its under /usr/lib where the file is "libgd.so" However, I dunno how to do with this file??? I have tried to configure php.ini..and got rid of the ";" ..and allowed the gd extension to run, how ever ..it didnt work, I guessed that I had to turn off the server, but I dun have the prevelige to turn it off. I have also tried to contact my provider, they havent replied me about a week.?? I
Can anything give me some suggestions how to do with this libgd.so file and what else i could configure to make it or.,.or its just simply the provider's problem??? coz I only have a week to get it done and I will be goin away..
