Server Down - No A Record?
OK... I'm not sure how to fix this and I'm not sure of the source. Without warning, the following happened, server has been down, web, mail, etc. For a while I could only ssh into it but that's about all. Here's what I'm finding doing a DNS lookup at dnsinfo:
How I am searching:
Searching for mydomain.com A record at l.root-servers.net [198.32.64.12]: Got referral to A.GTLD-SERVERS.NET. [took 116 ms]
Searching for mydomain.com A record at A.GTLD-SERVERS.NET. [192.5.6.30]: Got referral to ns1.mynameserver.net. [took 9 ms]
Searching for mydomain.com A record at ns1.mynameserver.net. [xx.xx.xx.xx]: Reports that no A records exist. [took 29 ms]
Answer:
No A records exist for mydomain.com. [Neg TTL=0 seconds]
Details:
ns1.mynameserver.net. (an authoritative nameserver) says that there are no A records for mydomain.com.
(mydomain.com does exist, but has no A records).

Even doing the following, checking the A records I'm still being told they don't exist. I'm completely out of answers here and this problem is persisting... all responses much appreciated.
