Really strange MySQL behavior
ok, this has really baffled me. Every night, starting at midnight server time, *something* is killing mysqld and then restarting it, every 5 minutes and does it 11 times. I have zero clue where to look./var/log/mysqld.log shows nothing other than mysql being stopped and then started again immediately. I then see in /var/log/messages that at 10 minutes after the hour, httpd is restarting. So I think, ok, some weird cron job. Nope, I have 3 cron jobs, one is BFD and another is PRM. The other is a mail script I have, doesn't touch apache or mysql.
So I'm at a loss. any ideas where I would look for this at? Running CentOS 4.2 w/ the 2.6.14.3gr kernel, httpd 1.3.34, php 4.4.1, mysql 4.1.5.
