Hey guys im in a real pickle and its driving me insane - plus ive not pneumonia right now! I hate computers. Anyway I tried to build an amd64 system before and ran into this SAME problem, this is what caused me to scrap pc's and buy my mac. I install windows and everything goes well, and then when it tries to boot into windows it hangs when the green squares go through the loading bar for the first time - about 1/2 to 3/4 through. It then flashes a blue screen too fast to read and then reboots. Last time I think i video taped it and caught a frame, and it was jus some generic BS error. I can boot into safemode - but not safemode with networking. I went into safemode and installed alllll of the drivers on the cd and still no luck!
Its not 64bit windows - but I dont think I need it? I got an amd64 3200 w/ 1gb of some brand name ram, and I have a gigabyte board - GA-K8N51GMP. I am running an SATA I 10,000 rpm raptor drive. I dont know what to do! I feel helpless and I am ready to give up on building pc's again....I am doing everything right (I think). Please if ANYONE has any insight on this let me know!
