As crazy as this may sound, I think some of you can appreciate my desire to completely shut down traffic from several countries and continents. For the majority of our domains, there will be less than 1% of traffic coming from the Orient and Africa. I can also easily say that 95% of the attacks on our servers and scripts come from these countries. I wouldn't doubt that many of you face the same issues that I do and may have some procedure to make it more simply to accomplish this mass blacklisting.
In looking at my logs I've noticed at least several dozen attempts to locate a certain file on my servers from different IPs all around the orient. It seems clear they are coming to my servers in an attempt to exploit someone's script that is no longer there. I cannot continue to individually ban IP addresses as it takes to long. So goodbye China. Anyone else do this? Many thanks to all of you in the past with your help in solving the endless spam problem.
