very high MYSQL Load
I have a server with the following specification:
P4 3000MHz
3GB Ram
2x120GB Sata
Hardware Raid1
We have a customer who needs to import a CSV file with about 7000 addresses once a week. He is using PHP to upload the file and then import them to MySQL. During the upload the load is going up to 100 and the server is very slow. Are there any configuration for MySQL which could solve this problem? At the moment we are using the standard configuration.
We are using mysql version 4.0.25.
