Problem: I have multiple clients who rent game servers from me and along with it we upload game stats too there websites via a http uploader. The uploader is gameserver side and the webscript is installed either standalone or via modules in nuke. Ever since the update to PHP v4.4.0 or higher(tried 4.4.1 as well) the stats have been either uploading intermittently or not at all. There is also a online offline status built into this script and it too is intermittently showing server status. The status is set to update every 120 seconds and the stats upload at end of game map rotation( variable time on map rotation determined by client settings).

The best we can figure is that when players with ASCII characters ( we believe upper range) enter into the game server the corruption and errors begin.

We have rolled our webserver back to PHP v 4.3.11 and the issues cleared up. I have poured over the webside script and am unable to find the incompatibility. Since the hexxed/ascii names do not effect the member forum logins it is specific to the script at hand.

The staff at the stats site is at a loss as well as I am a member there.

Stats site is http://babstats.com The webscript having the issue is Neos_Chronos all versions and the older version Chronos.

If anyone here would know of why the script is acting up with the new PHP version I would greatly appreciate any insight.

Thank you.
