PermitRootLogin Help
Im running WHM on Fedora Core 4.
I'm securing my server and i have changed PermitRootLogin from yes to no and restarted the service.
If i create a wheel group user manually or enable a user via WHM i can log into ssh using that user as the username.
But when i issue the command 'su' to gain root and enter my password i keep on getting 'Invalid Password'.
I know the password being typed is correct and the password works fine on logging into the server when PermitLoginRoot is enabled.
I have tried changing the root password as well but still get the same problem.
Did not have this problem on my last server.
Could anyone shed any light on the subject?
