Zonetime Date/Clock

I want to set to Brazil timezone, but have diferents times on clock and date commands,
how can i sync this?
how is more important to have the right time?

root@one [/usr/share/zoneinfo/Brazil]# date -s 'Tue Jan 17 12:19:35 BRST 2006'
Tue Jan 17 12:19:35 BRST 2006

root@one [/usr/share/zoneinfo/Brazil]# clock
Tue 17 Jan 2006 06:20:05 AM BRST -0.766632 seconds

root@one [/usr/share/zoneinfo/Brazil]# date
Tue Jan 17 12:22:59 BRST 2006
