Testing network connectivity from different countries
Hello,I hope this is the right forum to be posting this.
My client (a big Fortune 100 company, with many global offices) has many high volume websites for all its different offices which are all housed in a centralized web farm in a European location. So many local sites (like Asian sites, American sites) of the company are also hosted out of this European location.
Recently, many local markets like, say, Thailand, or Brazil, have started complaining that the speed of their websites is slowing down.
We would like to determine what is causing this slow down. Could it be the connectivity between Europe and those countries? Could it be the speed of ISPs in those countries? How can we pinpoint such stuff -- what factors should we look at, to nail down what is causing the slowdown from some countries, but not in others?
I would appreciate some advice or some pointers.
Many thanks.
