Laggy server....I dont know why...
I need some help since I'm a complete noob at Linux cmds. I have had my dedicated server for about a year now and I never really utilized it until now.. Well when i first got it... things were running nice and smooth. Now my sites seem to lag every now a then, but I have no clue on how to find the problem. Where should I start?
I ran the cmd TOP and pressed M to list all the processes by memory usage. and everything is below 3% except for one of them which is 18% under the username: "NAMED"
my friend said its normal and its the nameserver working. Any other tips i can use to improve my server performance? It's better late than never to learn server management now since i need.
