Changing server IP address

my server provider (managed.com) announced few days ago that i need to change my server IP address, they provided me with a new one, my server doesnt have Cpanel and its running on fedora...

how can i change the old IP address to the new one? i emailed managed but there is no answer yet, i might get faster help here Changing server IP address

can someone give me a step by step guide here? this will be through SSH right?
