email usage and intrusion attempts
I would like to know if there is a way to monitor email usage on my linux server. I want to know statistics such as emails being sent per day (either as a number or total file size)
Are there any ways to establish if someone has gained access to a server?Whenever I log in via ssh I log in as root and always see myself as the previous user to log in, does this necessarily mean that no one else has accessed anything?
