CPU clock speeds
Since my company is moving to provide Dedicated server services, I am stuck on a cross roads on which processor to purchase....
If I get the Celerons, I could offer my services cheaper, if I go for Pentium I could have performance but at a price....
After searching the net, I am still bothered by something...
Lets say I have the following :-
Celeron 2.8D
Pentium 2.4A
AMD Sempron 2400
AMD Althon XP 2400 (if I could still get it... )
Would the Celeron because of the faster clock speed make up for the lack of Cache?
Or should I just go for an AMD or Pentium processor but that is going to cost me significantly more...
