Whois: looking for open bulk batch domain whois service
I would like to develop a desktop application that would take a list of hundreds or thousands of domain names, perform a whois on each entry and put the data in a local database.
All whois services that I know of put a low limit on how many whois requests you can perform each day.
Is there an open whois service that I can access without limitations?
