AWS and Intel partner on custom chips in multi-billion dollar deal

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Intel have inked a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar deal to co-develop custom AI chips. AWS will leverage Intel’s 18A and Intel 3 technologies to create AI fabric and custom Xeon 6 chips, enhancing cloud and AI services.
