Arizona’s buckeye attracts 1.5GW data center as ALC eyes AI Iifrastructure expansion

Arizona Land Consulting secured 2,000 acres in Buckeye, Arizona, with plans to build a 1.5GW data center supported by Chamath Palihapitiya’s Social Capital. The project, projected at $25 billion, positions itself near Bill Gates’ Belmont site. However, the deal’s financial details are murky, with conflicting reports on its true value. The area is already a hub for data centers, including players like Meta and Microsoft.
