Hostinger brings Printful integration to simplify print-on-demand stores

Through its latest integration with Printful, hostinger users can now manage dropshipping services and print-on-demand services directly from its platform. This development signals the growing importance of e-commerce model innovations as entrepreneurs seek faster and lower-risk ways to launch online businesses.

Print-on-demand (POD) enables sellers to devise designs, such as for t-shirts, mugs, and other decorative pieces, and the producers only create them upon order. This system eliminates the cost of inventory storage and allows businesses to pivot during peak seasons. As a result, it has gained popularity among startups and small retailers that prefer flexibility over scale.

Through the new feature, Hostinger users can now create a fully functional store with the help of its AI website builder. After setting up a site, they can connect directly to Printful, upload custom artwork, select products, and begin selling online. Printful manages fulfillment and shipping through its network of production centers, which reduces delivery times and cuts transportation costs.

According to Auksė Žirgulė, Head of Hostinger Website Builder, the company designed the move to make e-commerce more accessible. She explained that while POD has grown rapidly, setting up stores and coordinating fulfillment remained complicated for many first-time sellers. Integrating Printful within Hostinger aims to remove those obstacles by merging creation and logistics into one streamlined process.

Observers in the industry remark that Printful has sought comparable partnerships, such as with Wix earlier this year. These integrations signal a wider transformation in digital commerce wherein website builders compete by providing full-fledged ecosystems.

Along with this, on-demand production also helps in achieving sustainability goals. Since companies only produce items after purchase, they greatly minimize the chances of overproduction and waste. Localized centers also contribute to reduced ship emission due to faster delivery. Hence, POD increases the margin offered to a business, while also promoting responsible retail.

With AI builders drastically reducing the time to set up a store, and integrated fulfillment systems, the retail barrier to entry has become remarkably low. For many entrepreneurs, this convergence marks a decisive moment as they build and scale digital businesses.
