Octave Klaba returns as OVHcloud CEO to drive next phase of growth

After one year, Benjamin Revcolevschi’s tenure comes to an end as Octave Klaba, the founder, is stepping back to the CEO position of OVHcloud, which is going through a new phase of leadership. The change takes effect on October 20, 2025, and reunites the chairman and CEO responsibilities under Klaba’s direction.

According to the company’s board, combining both roles will tighten the connection between vision, strategy, and execution. Klaba said the timing fits as OVHcloud launches its next five-year plan, called Step Ahead, which will guide its growth from 2026 through 2030. He emphasized that customers will soon benefit from a decade of investment in data centers and software that built the foundation for this next stage.

“In 2025, we broke through the symbolic one-billion-euro revenue mark,” Klaba said. “We met our goals and strengthened our corporate segment while expanding into new regions. The next step is to accelerate development in a market that moves faster every year.”

Revcolevschi, who led the company through the last year of its 2021–2025 strategic plan, said he was proud of the progress made and confident in OVHcloud’s direction under Klaba’s leadership.

Financially, the company posted solid results for fiscal 2025. Revenue rose 9.2 percent year over year to 1.084 billion euros, while adjusted EBITDA grew nearly 15 percent. One of the main areas of public cloud products was the sharpest increase, almost 20 percent, while private and web cloud services follow with gradual increases.

At the same time, OVHcloud raised its infrastructure investment to 361 million euros, about one-third of annual revenue. The firm went on to reveal the new server racks and cooling units that bring the energy requirements down by almost half and also reduce the water consumption by 30 percent.

In the future, OVHcloud intends to deepen its presence in the North American and Asian markets besides Canada, Singapore, and India, where it would be adding local zones. Klaba stated that although they expect small increases in 2026, the company will be diligent in maintaining its commitment to eco-friendly performance and continuous product development as a way of consolidating their standing in the worldwide cloud market.
