Nationwide taps AWS to strengthen scam defenses, customer engagement

Nationwide Building Society has expanded its use of Amazon Web Services to modernize customer engagement and strengthen fraud prevention across its operations. The agreement supports faster delivery of personalized services for more than 17 million members, including AI-backed contact center tools. Nationwide’s Call Checker service, built on AWS technology, directly targets impersonation scams, which accounted for a significant share of reported fraud cases in recent years.
