CloudFest 2026 expands footprint with new “Village” as event attendance climbs
The organizers of CloudFest are working on a substantial physical extension for the 2026 edition of the event, where a new section called CloudFest Village is being created as attendance and industry participation continue to increase. The additional space will add several thousand square meters to the conference footprint at Europa Park in Rust, Germany, where the global internet infrastructure gathering takes place from March 23 to 26.
The new area reflects how the event has evolved alongside the broader cloud and hosting ecosystem. Over the past several years, CloudFest has attracted a larger mix of infrastructure providers, hosting companies, developers, and cloud platform vendors. As a result, organizers have expanded both programming and exhibition space to accommodate the rising number of participants.
At the heart of the new section is the WebPros Cloud Pavilion, a large indoor/outdoor space designed for presentations, networking opportunities, and spontaneous meetings. The pavilion itself will feature its own stage program during CloudFest, as well as a café area, an exhibition space, and a meeting point for guided tours and networking opportunities. Several keynote speakers will also deliver presentations from the pavilion stage throughout the conference.
The expansion will also feature various practical elements to make the experience of attendees smoother. The newly created registration and information desk in the village is a key location for attendees to collect their event badges or seek information. Meanwhile, attendees staying at Europa Park’s themed hotels will continue to receive their credentials during hotel check in.
Some of CloudFest’s more unconventional traditions will also shift to the new space. The World Server Throwing Championship, one of the event’s most widely discussed side competitions, will take place inside a larger arena within the village. Organizers scheduled the preliminary rounds for March 24, followed by the final competition on March 25.
Food options will also expand through a street food area operating throughout the conference. Several mobile kitchens will offer quick meals during lunch hours, particularly for participants working inside the nearby exhibition halls.
CloudFest organizers expect more than 10,000 industry leaders to attend the 2026 gathering. The conference will focus on the theme “The Sustainability of Everything,” highlighting discussions around cloud infrastructure efficiency, environmental impact, and long term digital growth within the global IT ecosystem.
