[[checksum failure]] getting on my nerves

OK, i am getting this error when i try to move a site from one server to mine:

/tmp/cpmove-yob exists, please remove it and try again

now, when i look into my /tmp directory there is no file with that name... but i do find it in /home i do find it. i delete it and try again, and that file REAPEARS and the same error comes up saying i have to remove that file first [[checksum failure]] getting on my nerves

i need some help pls!!
