Problem With Big Video On Our Server
Server Configuration is

CPU :- 1.13 GHZ
RAM :- 768 MB
Disk Space :- 30 GB
Bandwidth :- 500 GB
We are paying 40$ per month to HostGator. We have a Social Video site (Clip Share script) hosted on the server which we launched recently. Videos with small size run properly on our server but videos with big size and longer duration never runs.
When we contacted HostGator Tech support they told us that our plan dont have features so that big videos would face problems or unstability. He asked us to migrate to advanced plan which would cost us 100$ p.m which is not affordable. Is it true that in order to social video websites we need to have that costlier servers ?
