Strange disk problem
We are seeing something very strange on one server. When we execute the df command we see that the tmp partition is 98% full. When we access the partition we only see a couple of session files which really don't count 98%. To ensure ourselves we deleted everything from the tmp partition with the rm -rf * command but it was still showing 98% used. Do you know what this could be ?
FYI: The tmp partition is a noexec partition.
