Ok this is going to show some of my ignorance but what the heck. I have a client who has server side includes that he is using in Microsoft Frontpage. Problem is he is using them in the "shared borders" specifically the bottom border. We use an Alabanza server and are having problems with his server side includes functioning but just in the shared border area. I was recently told that technically Microsoft FrontPage shared borders are essentially custom SSIs and as a result any SSIs in these border areas will not work on the Alabanza server. Is this correct or am I misinformed? Also if this is the case then is this the case for all Linux servers so my client has to use an NT based server? Any help would be appreciated!
