Sendmail
I have a question for ya. We are having a problem with sendmail.
One of the user is sometimes getting the error:
Date: 2 Jul 2001 16:41:09 -0000
From:
To:
Subject: failure delivery
Message from yahoo.com.
Unable to deliver message to the following address(es).
:
24.215.1.50 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 553 ... support
Giving up on 24.215.1.50.
Those last three lines are the problem. Now I am able to fix this, however i'm curious as to why its happening.
Everytime he starts getting this error i see the following process on the server:
/usr/sbin/sendmail -FCronDaemon -odi -oem root
And it just seems to sit there, not doing anything.
Once I kill the process, shutdown Sendmail, kill any remainning processes, and start it back up. It runs fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
