Getting started as a sysadmin...

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to start managing a Dedicated server (its for one big site and some hosting I might do for the sites I design or develop), I’m not a complete newbie, I’ve used Linux (started using slackware 2 or so long ago.. sweet times without all the GUI in today’s distributions...I remember I lost all my partitions data when I was learning how to install it... (That was a crusade by itself).

Well the thing is that now I’m a son of the GUI, I have Mandrake installed in a box, redhat 6.2 and RedHat 7.1 in two others; they are simple computers without any special purpose and not linked to the net.

I need books recommendations, resources and everything that may help me become a true Linux administrator, I most admit that using Red Hat Linux 7.2 in a personal computer (or any of the new distributions) with the "X" installed require almost no skills.

The pricing of the books or the quantity is not a factor, ill make my employers pay for that Getting started as a sysadmin... (As long as they are actually of good use)

So I come to the experienced people seeking a little hand of help (actually the most powerful one, a path to the source of knowledge.)

Thanks in advance.
