Cat 5 surge protection
We have a 100 mbt ethernet line into a server. about once a week the system reboots and we have to reconfigure the connection.
We tried OS reinstall twice, 2 completely new (custom built) systems.
Three different power supply's. 2 new UPS. tried a ac inverter on a dc power supply
.. the system still seems to be getting hit from a surge.
The Only thing I can think of now is the ethernet feed.
Any suggestions
