Transfering clients to a new server
I am currently trying to transfer around 80 clients from a dedicated server in NOC "A" to a colocated server in NOC "B". I have searched WHT for information regarding how to do this successfully without luck. I wish to transfer all clients, while maintaing all e-mail/cpanel/whm settings and files. All pertinent information to their account I wish to transfer, so that the clients can't even tell anything has been changed. (Except for the obvious exception of their IP would change). Does any smart and savvy tech know how exactly to go about this? I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.
Also, I have read around, and am almost positive, but am I correct in saying that when I move these users, they do not have to change their DNS setting with their registrar, since the alpha name (ns.diatone.net and ns2.diatone.net) wouldn't change, and the registrars would realize this, and automatically update the IP's for the name servers?
