Too many apache processes.. HELP!!!!
My problem is, im getting 500k useless hits to an URL on my server. Because of this my server is very low. I see 150 open apache processes. Maxclient is 150. If i increase this to 300 then open processes goes up to 300.
all connections come to domain.com/logs/log.php
I already deleted this file and folder. But it didnt work. I also tried to put .htaccess in this folder and it didnt work either. The fastest solution is removing the domainname but icant do this. We have promoted this domain everywhere. It is not easy to delete it.
Somehow i must block all incoming connections to this url before apache opens a process for those requests.
i would like to hire someone who can get rid of this for me.
