Configuring domains and mx records manually
I have been reselling for quite a while and recently started to use a friends rackshack ensim server.
However he hasnt got it set up to automatically configure domains when they are added to the nameservers.
I have been using 123reg to manage the dns using a name and c name records, which has worked fine and the site is up and running.
However i am having major problems with the email I cannot get it to work.
I changed the mx records to fruit-farm.co.uk and I have now been told there should be a trailing . after the domain name.
Do you think this will work? How long do mx records take to update? Is there an easier way of doing this?
