This may sound weird but maybe you can help. I installed frontpage server extensions 2002 on my windows 2000 server. Ive installed all my sites and installed forntpage server extensions on them so I see the vit_bin directroy. When a form goes to access shtml.dll file it always asks for security login and password. the only login that works is the administrator login. Ive checked for rights on the isapi folder which has the shtml.dll file in it. I gave everyone modify access to it just to see if this would change anything but it hasnt. this usually did it in the past. Ive checked the security in iis and its set to anonymous with a IUSR_"Servername" login and iis to control password. I really dont know what to do. This worked before and now it doesnt anymore. ANy ideas where to look to fix this problem. It has to be an ntfs problem im thinking but i dont know where to apply the correct security. all my sites have this problem.
