Simple question: how do I get my hands on cc?

I just bought a non-managed server running redhat linux... it hardly has anything on it....

so I download apache and when I try to install it, it cant find a compiler...

I did a find . -name 'cc' from / and came up with nothing

I know little about linux other than how to move around and the like... is there a place that will let you download cc?
