cpanel updates vs manual updates
Quick question I'd like to ask please as I am relatively new to running a cpanel /whm server.
Cpanel updates itself and the server programs/patches regularly. Do people rely on this or do they update manually when an announcement comes to you from say, RedHat or Apache?
We've been updating manually, only to find that next time we log in to whm, that cpanel/whm news says the fixes have been added.
Also, is doing the manual updates yourself likely to cause any conflicts with how cpanel/whm operates?
