user administration question
1) i am manually creating user via webmin and have a couple of problems. first of all i am trying to change my user option defaults. i.e. which is the default home directory, min/max days and things like that. the problem is that after i do my changes and try to save the file a get this error message. "Failed to save config : Failed to write to /etc/webmin/useradmin/config : Read-only file system"
2) when i edit a user and try to move its home directory or change his display name and things like that again i get the error that home directory cannot be moved cause it is ready only and the new changes do not take effect.
3) then i am trying to remove a user from shadow or group file and i cannot because it says its read only file. again trying to change permissions but it doesnt let me.
IN ALL cases i am looged in as root.
Any ideas how i can overcome this problems?
