directory quotas?

Is it possible to set a quota for a DIRECTORY?

I am building a free hosting service for kids and want to be able to limit how much can be uploaded per directory...

The directory structure goes like this:

/public_html/home/username

I will have a script that will create the FTP account and the directory under ./home/... I'de like to set up a per-directory quota if possible...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
