limiting the speed of apache????
like limit it to say 1.5MBit
problem is this. We have a small server, which hosts a small community. the small server also has streaming software installed.
Now the streaming software sends 128kBit a sec stream to a Shoutcast server, which has a 155MBit pipe
problem is this, when the site is under heavy load, the 128kBit gets interrupted and the data doesn't go to the shoutcast server fast enoguh, and everyone starts buffering who is listening
So, can you limit the amount of bandwidth that apache uses to say 1.5MB so that it loads .5MB for the stream to broadcast to the shoutcast server, with a nice overhead
