FrontPage and FTP (yech)
I was running proftpd. The problem is that FrontPage will publish a few pages and then randomly stall. It doesn't always happen on the same file -- sometimes it gets further than others.
I tried removing the NAT router/firewall from the client -- no dice. I tried running proftpd outside of xinet and no luck there either. So I finally installed vsftpd. Still no luck!
The client machine can do FTP to other machines (with or without the firewall). It must be something in the networking setup, but what? Can't be xinet because it fails the same way without it. I can't imagine it is firewall related because then it just wouldn't work at all, right?
Any ideas?
