Some FTP Questions... Can I ?

Hello, i need to know how my Another Host was hosting me on this Path /var/www/hosted/sub/matrix and when i go to CuteFTP i only See the / of my Dir, i got my Personal server and i want to make that how can i? I need PROFTPD or vsftpd is just fine?
