FTP problems with a Router!

Hey all, new to the forums obviously.

Problem is, I have a webhosting server, dedicated on my LAN. Though no FTP program can get to it. I have setup DMZ hosting and I have setup so multiple URL;s access the machine. Can anyone point out a program specifically? Much appreciated.
