my windows 2000 server seems to be having problem . The harddisk for operating system has 4 gig in total .. it was ok all the while.. but today when i check, it shows the harddisk has only 2 gig.. i wonder where is the other 2 gig.. i suspect its the operating system error.. any idea why is this so? or could it be lost somewhere like lost fragment? i was advised not to do a scandisk on windows 2000 because its not safe.. am i correct? .. any idea why?
When the harddisk booted up , i was being put to a hardware profile recovery menu.. i have profile 1 or server lock to choose..
when i choose profile 1, it boots up normal .. but after a while the server becomes unstable and my web goes down .. probably due to the harddisk is full...
