Hits to my site have increased amazingly but can't figure out how ...
Basically my site was receiving around 600-800 unique's per month. That's on a good month. Well, I have done a lot of promotion as far as getting listed in search engines more and more along with directories and all that. Anyhow, as of the time of this post I've received 2715 unique's this month according to awstats (same with the other stats programs though). I can't figure out where the hits are coming from though. I have looked at referrers (most of the hits don't have a referrer) and can't figure it out. Most of the hits stay for under 30 seconds according to awstats.
Any clues as to how I can figure out where these hits are coming from or where to investigate further that might tell me what's up?
