I have mydomain on zoneedit which has an a record for a shared ip where my domain is hosted, which works. I also have downloads.mydomain on zoneedit which has an a record for a shared ip where the subdomain is hosted, which also works. I set a cname, d.mydomain, to go to downloads.mydomain, which does not work. The only record for d.mydomain is the cname, there are no others. I tried this without setting up d.mydomain in cpanel (get an apache welcome page?) and with setting up d.mydomain in cpanel (becomes its own subdomain, cname doesn't seem to matter). What should I do to get the cname to work?
