Anti virus software for linux?
Can anybody direct me to any anti-virus software like Norton for a linux system that can be used remotely over SSH? One of my users has a few files that are infected with the Worm.Sobig.F virus on his account and it's trying to spread via email. I've got clam installed and it's stopping it from spreading, but I'd really like to find and fix or delete the infected files as the logs are getting bothersome.Seeing the server is running linux it can't effect the server itself, it's just trying to spread via email and clam is stopping that from happening, thus I would prefer to fix the problem rather than delete the account with the infected files. The only harm it is doing at this moment in time is generating a lot of log entries.
I have contacted the user and advised him to scan his computers at home for viruses and if possible identify the infected files, but it's been 2 days and I haven't received any news from him since.
I'd prefer something free as this is likely a one time issue, but I might consider commercial software.
Thanks.
