moving Stites - How To?
I have a few sites on a reseller account, with DNS ns1.mydomain.net and ns2.mydomain.net. I puchased a dedicated server and would like to move the sites from the reseller account to the dedicated with minimum disruption for customers. The dedicated server name is server01.mydomain.com.
This is what I would like to do (not necessarely in this order):
- move the sites including mail and MySQL to the dedicated server
- rename the dedicated to server01.mydomain.net
- create the DNS ns1.mydomain.net and ns2.mydomain.net in the dedicated (I know I will have change the IPs at the registrar)
All of this with the minimum disruption. Is there a way to do it? I don't have shell access to the reseller account.
