Sites with links to peoples' CPanels (domainname.com:2082)
I found sites listed in my stats with links to my CPanel screen. The 2 sites were blogs. There were links to other sites' CPanels as well. The sites with links to CPanels were:
wr18.com
jennifersblog.com
To be clear, these sites contain links to other peoples' sites. However, the links are not to the sites themselves, but to their respective CPanels at port 2082. There are also regular links. These links are dynamically changed: I checked and saw my client's URL:2082, and checked again less than 10 minutes later to find my client's URL gone and new ones there.
Why in Hades would anyone link to a CPanel unless there was a known way to get in? Wr18.com has to me a real bogus look to it. Guys, what is going on with these sites and their CPanel links ????? Thanks for any info.
