What kind of technical knowledge is needed to start a webhosting business?

I am sure somebody else asked this question before, but I don't seem to find it so I am going to ask it again.

what kind of technical knowledge is required to start a new web hosting biz as reseller first, utilizing cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM), I’ve been a Linux user for a about 4 years now, but I have a limited knowledge of apache, PHP and MySQL What kind of technical knowledge is needed to start a webhosting business? .

Can I still be able to run a web hosting business with just using cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM) or more skills is required beyond that? As some customers may require to have some features in apache or php to be turned on or off according to their specific needs, and what is the best way to get started acquiring this knowledge? Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks
