Network Card Setting Problem
Hi,I run a linux 7.0 Apache Server behind a DSL LinkSys Router in my home. I set the WAN IP address of the Apache Server to 192.168.1.3. I also forwarding the port 80 of the router to 192.168.1.3. I have a problem in setting the network card:
1. If I set the IP address of the server to 192.168.1.3 by netcfg. The server and all virtual hosts can be accessed on the Internet. However, when I use the server to open a browser , the browser cannot connect with the Internet. In other word, the Internet can access the server, but the server cannot connect with the Internet.
2. When I set to DHCP by netconfig, the server can connect to the Internet. However, the server and virtual hosts cannot be accessed on the Internet.
Therefore when the server need to download files and upgrade, I need to change the network card of the server to DHCP.
Please help. How can the server be accessed from the Internet and the server can also access to the Internet at the same time.
Thanks~
